KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd’s financial relief assistance programmes will continue for affected customers due to the recent nationwide Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0.
In a statement on Wednesday, CIMB said the assistance includes the expanded targeted payment assistance programme for B40 individuals and micro-enterprises.
It is also continuing with its restructuring and rescheduling of loans and financing for M40 individuals and other affected customers.
CIMB urges customers in need of assistance to get in touch to discuss suitable financial relief options. It also assured customers that any financial assistance taken will not impact their Central Credit Reference Information System status.
As of mid-May, CIMB has provided financial payment relief assistance to around 160,000 individual and SME borrowers, amounting to more than RM21bil, with an approval rate of virtually 100%.
CIMB said customers in need for assistance can call CIMB’s contact centre at +603 6204 7788 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As for SMEs, they can call CIMB’s business call centre at 1300 888 828 (local) and +603 2297 3000 (overseas) from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm (excluding public holidays).
Non-SMEs and corporate customers may also contact their CIMB relationship manager to discuss financing options.
